To celebrate our 50th anniversary we want to dye EVERYTHING blue and so today we want to tell you a little more about us and the Macer brand.

Macer was founded in 1973 by 6 partners, Agustín Poyatos, Enrique Cubertorer, Serafín Sales, Manuel Marzá, Rafael Muñoz and Pedro Valerio.

They established themselves in a small ground floor in Calle Juan de Austria n.º6 in Almazora.

And they couldn’t have had a better start.

In 1976 and thanks to the great reception from the sector, they acquired the warehouse in Avenida de la Estación s/n, which is still Macer’s headquarters today.

This brand was present from 1973 to 1979.

By 1979 the company had reached cruising speed and was fighting for a leading position in the industry. It was competing head to head with the leading manufacturers in the industry. This status was reflected in the brand, which was modified for the first time, adopting a more modern design for the time, in keeping with the young, non-conformist spirit of the company.

The next change was in 1986, when the M was slightly modified and the shape of the logo became square.

In 1998, with the help of the Castellon artist Rossana Zaera, Macer adapted its brand image to the new times, and to the aesthetic demands of the new millennium.

Subsequently, in 2004, the audiovisual artist and then marketing director of Macer, Pepe Beas, modified the Rossana logo, placing the circle on a blue square, and keeping the mould of the previous logo.

Although the shape has been modified and adapted over the years, the Macer brand has always had two very strong identifying elements, the letter M as the central axis of all the brands and the colour blue, present since its foundation in 1973.
