Therefore, at Macer, we accept the challenge of the Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, which seeks to address the greatest challenge of our generation, the sustainability of our planet.

That is why we announced the complete photovoltaic installation of industrial self-consumption in two of our three production plants, whose second stage was completed last November 2023 and that today we present to you finally completed. This project brings us closer to achieving our seventh goal of affordable, non-polluting energy.

The installation means a saving for the company of up to 29% of energy consumed from the network in Macer 2 and 34% in Macer 3, or in other words, a saving in emissions of up to 172 tons of CO2 per year, increasing the sustainability of our production facilities, doing our bit in the fight against climate change.

We continue to work with the aim of further improving not only sustainability, but in all areas of the company.
