A key phase before producing a relief industrially is testing the design.

Verifying that the design is functional and can be reproduced in series is essential. This allows us to make adjustments to ensure the design is viable for semi-dry pressing molding.

If the design originates from a sketch, meaning it has not been created from a physical object, its development consists of designing a grayscale file, which, together with the mask, will be used to create the prototype.

ENGRAVING

TYPES OF PROTOTYPING

Plaster

Plaster is the material of choice for prototype creation, as it perfectly distinguishes volumes and shapes without the interference that a colored graphic might cause in its perception.

Bisque

Another material highly valued for prototype creation is clay. This allows for a much closer approximation to the final product and also provides the possibility for the client to create a glazed and/or decorated sample.

Rubber

This material offers a new level of precision when creating a prototype. Rubber enables a more reliable industrial test. By adhering it to a smooth punch, several pressings can be made, producing pieces that allow us to conduct internal developments in the factory to assess their viability.
