Entry mirror mould
The entry mirror mould is configured with its die box on the hydraulic pistons, so that with blocks on the upper plate the penetration of the upper punch in the mould is controlled.
The advantages of the entry mirror mould are reduced stress on the piece and the elements which make up the mould (liners, punches, etc.). It is used for large formats where all pieces are rectified, therefore it is preferable to have the good face of the tile upwards, thereby avoiding powder sticking on and cracks. This type of mould is currently used to substitute the double mould, as its cost is much lower.
